Fantastic book that teaches U.S. geography in a fun and memorable way. We used this book along with blank maps of the U.S. to try and find the states. Interestingly, the state shapes were also memorable in many instances, which I found surprising.

This became a frequent request in our house and we had fun not only reading the text, but all of the asides were a blast. Highly recommended!

Fun and entertaining. The author does a great job of giving the states personalities. Educational?? A little bit but mostly fun.
Kids with familarity about the United States will enjoy seeing them come to life. As an adult I got a chuckle out of some of the geography jokes.
If you like this, get the DVD too.
